Southeast Michigan Flute Association's 2nd Annual Flute Choir Festival included a workshop by Melissa Mashner (Intonation: Octaves and Fifths) as well as performances from several area flute choirs, and a Mass Flute Choir Piece to end comprising of 50-60 flutists.

Madrigalia’s expansive interpretation of the December holidays, with works of Hannukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, celebrations both secular and sacred, meditations on winter, and words of hope, selected to ground our own holidays, and to open us to the celebrations of others.  The Nazareth Bach Children’s Chorus, Melissa Mashner, flute, and Janet Ying, violin, add to the beautiful voices of Madrigalia to conclude this festive and uplifting occasion.

Gift of Music Outreach Performance

Breath Ensemble, December 8, 2019 at 7:00 pm - Atria Park, Ann Arbor, MI

Join the Community Music School of Ann Arbor as the Breath Ensemble performs our winter concert at Atria Park. In addition to giving my students a wonderful learning and performing experience, the goal of this concert is to give the gift of music to audiences who might not often - if at all - have the opportunity to hear live music.
